In the Southern Forests, the Weld Valley flows from Mt Anne in the South West World Heritage Area to the Huon River. The forests of the lower Weld Valley are unprotected and open to large scale industrial logging practices.
Huon Valley Environment Centre is calling on all the forests of the lower Weld Valley to be protected from industrial forestry practices.
