A community based programme which gathers information on forestry activities in the Southern Forests of Tasmania. Members of the local community conduct inspections of threatened forests and active logging coupes, in an effort to expose the disgrace of the woodchipping of ancient forest ecosystems This programme aims to 'bear witness' and to educate others on the destruction of some of the wildest and most precious places on earth Regular trips are run, visiting these forests under threat, contact us for further details. A self-drive tour brochure is available from the environment centre, for those who want to see the forests for themselves.
